INTRODUCTION
WHAT IS THE PLAN OF THE WAY OF TRUTH MINISTIRES?
To proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6) with the intent that people will respond positively and be able to say “I have chosen the Way of Truth” (Psalm 119:30). This plan is fulfilled in the following ways:
THROUGH LOCAL CHURCH MINISTRY, including Bible conferences, revival meetings, and mission conferences.
THROUGH BIBLICAL COUNSELING
The Way of Truth Ministries operates the Altoona Christian Counseling Center, which provides nouthetic counseling that confronts people’s problems from the perspective of the Word of God.
THROUGH MEDIA MINISTRIES, including radio and internet broadcasting worldwide. Programs include “The Message of Truth” - a 30-minute weekly program designed to teach the Word of God through Biblical exposition with the goal of seeing the lost come to Christ and the born-again believer edified in the Lord. “The Living Truth” - a daily 15 minute program designed to give sound Bible teaching and spiritual encouragement to believers as they face the daily routine of life and a challenge to unbelievers to trust Christ alone as their Savior, and “A Moment of Truth” - a daily one-minute program designed to give a brief challenging Biblical message for those in the fast pace of life.
THROUGH THE PRINTED PAGE, including The Way of Truth Chronicle - a periodical discipleship paper distributed free to subscribers. The Way of Truth Press, which produces booklets and pamphlets on practical Biblical subjects and the Biblical Newsletter, which is mailed to governmental leaders addressing various issues from the Biblical perspective.
THROUGH THE WAY OF TRUTH BAPTIST MISSIONS, which includes home and foreign missionaries. Currently The Way of Truth Baptist Missions has missionaries in the United States, Ghana, Togo, Liberia, and India. A vital part of The Way of Truth Baptist Missions is the ministry to the military. This is an evangelistic outreach focusing on reaching the military of the nations of the world for Christ under the direction of Dr. Phil Kissinger, a retired army colonel.
THROUGH THE WAY OF TRUTH HIGHWAY MINISTRIES, showing and teaching the trucking industry the way to Christ and how to live for Christ.
THROUGH THE WAY OF TRUTH BIBLE INSTITUTE used both in the United States and abroad utilizing the “World-Wide Bible Institute” program developed by Dr. Bill Shade through The Source of Light Ministries.
THROUGH THE DR. AL SMITH MUSIC MINISTRY - making available music materials, CD’s, and tapes produced by the late Dr. Smith.
WHAT IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY MAINTAINED BY THE WAY OF TRUTH MINISTRIES?
The Way of Truth Ministries is accountable to the authority of God, the Bible, and the Local Church.
The Way of Truth Ministries is governed by the Board of Directors who all personally know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and who are actively involved in local Bible believing churches.
The Way of Truth Ministries endeavors to maintain integrity before God, God’s people, and the world so as to present a testimony that exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. At any time, the programs, records, and practice of The Way of Truth Ministries may be examined by the public or any concerned individual.
WHAT IS THE DESIRE OF THE WAY OF TRUTH MINISTRIES?
TO SERVE the Lord and His Church in whatever way He considers us worthy.
TO MAINTAIN and expand the cause of traditional fundamental Christianity.
TO STAND against sin and compromise by standing for righteousness and truth.

WE BELIEVE IN:
* The verbal plenary inspiration of scripture. II Timothy 3:16, 17
* The Trinity existing as one God in the form of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. II Corinthians 13:14
* The deity of Jesus Christ as the perfect God-Man. Matthew 1:23
* The death, shed blood, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins.
Romans 5:8; Ephesians 1:7; I Corinthians 15:3, 4.
* The reality and the personality of Satan. I Peter 5:8; Revelation 20:10
* The Church is the Body and Bride of Christ on earth and exists as the Universal Church consisting of all born-again believers around the world and the Local Church consisting of born-again, baptized believers in local communities. Colossians 1:18; I Corinthians 1:2
* The reality of a literal Heaven and literal Hell. John 14:2, 3; Psalm 9:17
* The Pre-tribulation return of Christ for His Church and the return of Christ to the earth after the tribulation to establish His Millennial Kingdom. I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 24:30
