Greetings
Friends:
Nov/Dec
2006
Thank you for your
prayers and for funding our trip in September to Liberia and Ghana, W. Africa
which was a most successful visit to our national pastors with many folk
trusting Christ as Saviour. Unfortunately, we had a vehicle break
down in both countries.
Liberia
was pretty quite by still having the UN Forces present. It was good to see and
dedicate the new large church building, pastored by
Eric Barlea, at their Coast Guard Base in Monrovia,
Liberia, the Church built mainly by the congregation’s labor themselves and
through their sacrificial giving.
In Ghana,
I had the opportunity to meet with their military chaplains and preach to a
large chapel gathering at the Burma
Base which was aired on National TV.
Several unfinished
churches/projects need your prayers and help:
1.
Two churches in
Ghana, as the
one below, needing cement floors, plastering, doors, painting, and etc. at a
cost of $1000.00 each.
2.
One church in
Liberia needing
a cement floor at about $700.00.
3.
Pastor Ken Duah,
Ghana, needs to
begin his church parsonage starting with the first phase, foundation work at
$3500.00. This is a much needed
house to avoid further complete 2 yr rent payments.
We need your prayers
for the Lord’s direction if we should travel to
India in
2007. Presently, Rev. Pfaunmiller and I do not have the funds to schedule it.
Please continue in
prayer for us, and let us hear from you.
My wife and I want to wish all of you a blessed Thanksgiving and a
wonderful Christmas & New Year.
Praying for you – Phil and
Gloria
