HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
REACHING THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY WITH
THE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
THE VISION OF HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
It is the VISION of HWM to use all possible biblical means to present the Gospel to those in the trucking industry including:
* Establishing chapels in truck stops across America.
* Evangelizing those in every aspect of the trucking industry such as: truck drivers, terminal workers, truck stop employees, mechanics, and company personnel.
* Edifying those who know Christ in their walk with the Lord.
* Educating individual Christians and local churches regarding the spiritual needs of those in the trucking industry.
* Encouraging concerned Christians to support the ministry prayerfully, personally, and financially on a regular basis
THE PURPOSE OF HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
It is the PURPOSE of HWM to provide for the spiritual and emotional needs of those in the trucking industry. Currently the trucking industry is one of the largest unreached people groups in America with over one million individuals involved. It is estimated that by the year 2014 there will be a 26% increase in the work force of the trucking industry. These are people who face a lot of stress and fatigue by traveling the highways, being away from their homes and families, meeting deadlines, having little time off and facing many forms of sinful temptations. Many truckers are on the road days and weeks at a time and have no church to attend where the Word of God is faithfully proclaimed. HWM endeavors to meet the spiritual and emotional need of the trucker where he or she is, no matter what that need may be.
THE PLAN OF HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
It is the PLAN of HWM to establish chapels in truck stops along major routes at strategic locations for the most possible affects. The chapel ministries are led by a lead chaplain and supported by volunteer chaplains in each location. Where it is possible, it is also practical to have husband and wife teams serving together in the chapels. Through the chapels, regularly scheduled worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings, counseling and one on one ministry.
THE GOAL OF HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
It is the GOAL of HWM to reach as many individuals in the trucking industry as possible with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and acquaint them with a fundamental church in their home areas.
THE INVITATION FROM HIGH WAY MINISTRIES
It is the INVITATION of HWM to invite YOU to consider becoming involved in this much-needed outreach. YOU can do so through your prayers, your financial support and, or your personal involvement. If you personally know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, agree with the doctrine of HWM, and sense the Lord leading you into this unique ministry, please contact the HWM office for further information.

In the late summer of 2009, High Way Ministries was asked to attend and be a part of the local Make-A-Wish Convoy Event. This event is held at the Bedford Fairground in Bedford, PA for the complete service to "Kids" who want a ride in a "BIG TRUCK"! The Convoy covers about a 40 mile round trip excursion with horns blaring, banners flying, and kids smiling. Below are some photos from these events.

We made the
Newspaper !
September 10th of 2011 saw the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Way of Truth Ministries at Leighty's Flea Market in Newry, PA where we were able to have over 40 trucks as well as a very much appreciated apperance by our local PAANG Stryker unit, which the boys and girls were able to climb aboard both vehicles and experience part of what it's like for our soldiers. The forcast called for 70% chance of rain, but the good Lord blessed us with a great day for all.
